1st time meeting you, glad to see new faces. I'm staying inside till evening very hot and humid.. It rained last night thank goodness, soil already dry. Be lawn sprinkling a little later think I'll just sit in the falling water. I have A/C but like to preserve it's life as much possible.
Thanks for the compliment. I've never taken any classes on making the quilt and/or quilt them so I'm still making lots of mistakes. All my quilts go out as gifts so I guess they don't mind a mistake or two. Most of the receivers have no clue if a mistake has been made even.........lucky me.
Almost done with yet another over sized baby quilt. Trying to get what tops I have quilted before my quilting system is sold. I'm looking to getting a bigger system if I can wing it.
Thank you for the nice comment about my projects and sewing room Darce. I enjoy my corner of the house and LOVE making all the different projects I've always wanted to do. Still have a LONG list of things I want to make....LOL...don't we all!
Thank you and I would appreciate this. I never thought that I would use them and never thought the kids would want one. They were on the clearance here at the Hancocks Fabric store. I should have bought more then as they were really cheap. I still hope you will find me some more. If you do just let me know and I will send you money. Thanks!
Thanks Darce! I had 2 of those panels for the advent calendar and let my SIL talk me out of one of them and it made my grandson upset since he had convinced himself that I would give him one for his house. He has the most kids and if I could get my hands on 2 or 3 more I would go ahead and do all those married kids one each. I bought 2 thinking to myself all the time that I probably wouldn't use the first one and now I cannot find them here. If you see any still available where you live I would pay you for 3 and the postage. I think they all need one. My SIL said she would like to use mine for a pattern so I traded her it for some handwork that I hadn't learned to do yet. LOL Thanks again for the nice comments.
Hi Darce, this fell into place. Sandy is good for the weekend after Labor Day - Saturday. We can meet you for lunch at the little shop next door to Pine Needles.
We'll be looking forward to it. We can get a set time as the day approaches.
This should be fun!
Darce, Sandy & I were talking tonight at quilt club. We could meet in Austin and then drive from there to Racine & meet up with you sometime. Maybe some Saturday so you are off. Does the ice cream shop next door serve sandwiches or lunches or anything of that sort?
