Hi Quilt Man! The quilt is a combination of two different fabric lines: 1) Bebop by P&B Textiles and 2 )Play your Song by Tara Reed licensed to SSI (www.southseaimports.com). The block you see in the close up is the latter fabric. Hope you can find it. I picked it up last year at our NW Quilt Expo but perhaps the website can direct you to other outlets.
Your quilts are beautiful! Don't worry about what you don't finish. I'm learning that EVERY quilter who calls themself a quilter has a stable of unfinished projects. This work is all about what speaks to you at the moment. Just keep listenin'.

HI Quiltman,
I love your color choices- so many rich colors and bold desires- they are so interesting to look at. I have not made a fan quilt - it is on my to do list- Do you keep a to do list? Do you make quilts because you want to make the design or because you need a quilt for someone? I enjoy hearing about other people's process.
You can find my blog at http://quiltmomsjourney.blogspot.com/
if you would like to see some of my other quilts.
Regards from a Western Canadian Quilter,
Anna

I had never heard of a zipper quilt so I had to google it lol I was just eyeballing it....and would guess the "zipper" pieces could easily be strip pieced. If you make the rectangles say 4 1/2" x 7 1/2" you could make the "zipper" pieces with 1 1/2" strips sewing the strips together and then cutting the segments 2 1/2". Of course you would have to know what fabrics are going next to each other to get the "zippers" to match. Good luck! Otherwise amazon.com has the book for sale over there!

Thank you for your nice compliment on my quilt. Yours are fantastic. I love the latest one. I've tried to make African quilts but they can't compare to yours. You do beautiful work and so exciting..

Hi Quilt Man!! I hadn't seen your blogs or pictures before today and I just spent some time checking them all out. You have some beauties for sure! I love that you make them to be used and not just looked at. That's where I am also. I have several grandchildren and am slowing making each one a quilt what goes with them..... I have made several baby quilts also and send them on to the new little ones. In return I seem to have made some new Moms happy also! LOL
Glad to have you join us, keep in touch and have a great day!

Hey did you ever begin that "hand quilting"? I was wondering how you liked it. I think I might like to try my hand at it too? Looks like you have been busy. Love the quilt that looks like the Lonestar, beautiful.

Hey, Quilt Man, Your quilts are great! The pillow cases are nice too. You do such good work. Love the quilt with the leopard/zebra print fabrics. And the log cabins on the "Obama" quilt as posts in the border are really neat.
