JH: In regards to the recipes. We were putting them in the comment area and then found ourselves scrolling for hours to find what we were looking for. One of the gals suggested that we make headings and put the recipes under the appropriate heading. So click on the discussion area and you will find, breads, desserts, chicken, salad. There are a lot of them and I'm not keeping up too well. If you add one it would be great it you put iit in the correct heading. Welcome to our kitchen. You have to try the 5 min Cake in a Mug. It;s different but fun and best with vanilla ice cream. bye
Hey! I am already proud of you kiddo! You don't have to do anything to make me proud! I love you because of who you are not because of what you do. You do some pretty amazing things by the way. I can not crochet or knit the way you do either, and you have made so many beautiful things. Just look at what you can accomplish so easily! You even make it look easy! :)
Welcome Jacqueline, I love this site better then any other site on the computer. I have met and shared with so many wonderful ladies from near and far. You'll find everyone friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. I am a retired grandmother of 7.
Hi- I started sewing when I was 8 years old. Started Quilting about 27 years ago. I don't consider myself as an expert but I have met a number of wonderful people.
Ask any question, I am sure all of us can answer them. Good to know it is never to young to start or to old to learn. Have a great time. Peggy
Hi Jacqueline! Welcome! I am sure it will not take you long to start roaming about the site and checking out different blogs and peoples' pages....... I am sure you will enjoy it here and you will really learn a lot also. Everyone is very helpful and it's great fun too!
Check out Connecting Threads site and their kits. You may want to start small, like a table runner or topper. Or if you get a chance to go to a quilting class that will help you a lot. I don't know where Hot Dog St is, but hopefully you have a quilt shop near you. At the very least it will make you more comfortable working on a quilt. Good luck, I know you will do fine!
Again, welcome! Have a great day!

Welcome. I have not been on very long and am still learning but I know first-hand that any questions are answered very quickly.
I'm a grandma too but only to 2. The rest of my "grands" are dogs!
