I am sure that in the course they told you that you have to practise. And it is true. I felt lack of confidence too. In a sessions I had to make up 12 inch sandwich layers to practice on (fabric and batting and fabric). Every time you are going to try, start with these squares to warm-up and try all kinds of shapes, designs. Personally this year I have made several baby quilts and that is what I practise on. I try various free motion designs in various areas. it looks great once it is washed. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure who to address this to, so since I know you a little, you get my query.
I just saw a new Kangaroo Kabinet and wanted to see if CT is going to start carrying it for sale. It is the Tasmanian Height Adjustable Table. Looks like a really great product.
Hi Judy thanks for visiting...My Brit is part Bouvier and part Sheppard she passed last year of old age. She was a lovely dog and put up with groomers who wanted to make her look pretty but she was a little tomboy.
I love schnauzers my neighbours as I was growing up always had one or 2 and they are very smart pooches!!
Judy - I always knew that if I had a question, that karen would find the answer but I don't know who to contact now….so you're it…LOL.
I noticed that when I was looking at pics of recently posted photos, that when I want dot add a picture to "My Favorites", that button doesn't exist anymore? I didn't want to click on Like because I don't know where that goes or who is looking at it - do you know what I mean? Help me please! :-)
I've discovered that *Can* you make this? is not the same as *Will* you make this?! LOL I'm thinking the plans would be a great birthday present for him! (I'm still remembering the year ping pong paddles appeared in my Christmas stocking...) ; D
There's just something very soothing and sort of tactile about being able to see all your threads! (I find even when my sewing room is messy, my fabric stash always makes me feel better!)
Thanks! Right now my threads are mostly balanced in a few of those old Post Office drawers they sell in antique shops. It would be nice to have a shelf the right depth! lol It will be interesting (to say the least!) to see if I can get DH to make the shelf for me. He is handy, but it's usually for other people!LOL
I have to confess to never taking the time to go thru all your photos. Now that I did...WOW. Where do you find the time. I don't know which is my favorite. I like so many. I too love pincushions...is that an armadilo? (sp) Your little puppy is a real cutie.
Judy: Thanks for your comments. I LIKE the way you think. I have to let my brain and body reconnect before I trust myself with designing again. No telling what it would look like right now. I have several things on the drawing board from January that I would love to take to the next level. As to the Road Trip? That will be a sure thing in May....Going to Salt Lake City or Bust.
Hi, Judy - just wanted you to know that I received my fabric for my table runner yesterday. Your photographers are good - but the fabric wasn't done justice in the photos...........it's gorgeous!! I'll post a pic when I complete it.
Tried to post a blog last night and again this morning and am unable to connect to do so, I have no problems on the rest of the siite. Is it me or is it the site? Doesn't seem to be as many blog posts either. You may want to check with "them" and see.
Thanks to all at CT again. j

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! It's also one of my gsons' birthday, too. He's 'still wet behind the ears' as my gpa used to say lol... only 22.
Hope you have a wonderful birthday! :)
