thanks for the information Helen, it sounds like it would be a really interesting program to go to unfortunately that's quite a way from where I am ,so I don't think I'd be able to go if you do let me know what you thought about it I'd be interested thanks Diane
Oh good, I was trying to call everyone on my list to see who's it was and decided it must be yours but I didnt have your number and Wanda said it wasnt on your check either. So glad you got it all figured out. It was great to meet you and spend the weekend quilting. I think Im ready for a nap.
How did you come up with the name Reba? Just curious, I am still trying to decide on her name-maybe I will know it when I see her! I have a few in mind already. Thanks again for all of your information. ;o)
I ordered it! I got it for a steel, they had fre shipiing today- glal I waited, and I found a promo code online for 15% off! I saved another $78 on top of the sale price! I sgould get it sometime in the next week!!!! I am so excited!
Thanks Helen. I think I am going to order it tomorrow. It is getting harder to find and I want to make sure I get it before it's gone! Looks like it will work with a lot of brother/babylock parts which is good-that's my favorite brand. HSN has it with a bundle of extra added accessories for $399 plus shipping! Never ordered from there before bit there's a first time for everything. Thanks again for your help! Now to think of a namenfor her....
Hi Helen...i was wonderimg what all came with your machine, where you bought it , and if you don't mind- how much you paid? I've seem several places with different accessory packages. And the most important question...do you like it? (Or love it?) I think I.might get one since they went down in price. Just can't get it out of my mind, it reminds me of both of my grandmas! Dh even likes how it looks!
Hello, Helen--I'm glad you told us about your photos you had uploaded. Don't you love the ease of sharing pictures when you have a digital camera? I can't believe how I fussed about DH spending the money on it several years ago--I use mine all the time. Your quilt is beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing your quilting. What kind of frame are you using? I have a Grace Z44, but I've only used it for basting, then quilt in my lap with a Q-snap frame. I would like to try it, but just haven't yet.
Oh yeah, Lincoln county is really close. I have a coworker that owns land in Chandler. You have the best of both worlds, you are an Okie, and your DH is an Iowan! Everyone I have met from Iowa is just great, really friendly.
I would love to be your quilty friend, Helen! Uncle Nickers cracks me up. We have a chocolate lab that our DGS named, Chocolate. We also have a basset hound, Missy. They are actually our grand dogs, but live with us.
Helen, did you say you were moving to south central Iowa? Do you by chance know Jerry and Helen McCall? I'm not sure where they live, near Albia or Centerville. We know them thru the Goldwing motorcycle riders group.
