just came across your profile and wanted to say...GOOD FOR YOU!!!you hand quilt that first quilt!! i am self taught in everything i do, and while my technique may not be textbook, i am still pretty darn pleased with myself for doing it on my own, and you should be too!!
OOPS, it is not at connectingthreads.com it's a paperpieces.com, they also sell the already made packages for the size hex's you need. I tried the ruler way when I started, boring, it's just easier to order them. Also, MSdesigns has a site for EPP w/free workshops and she also sells the EPP templates for EPP.
At connectingthreads.com over on the right at the top there is a chart that tells you how many hex's can be made out of certain cuts of fabric. Hope this helps and good luck in you endeavors at EPPing.
You are going to love it, I'll bet and us too......... Stay tuned and learn all about our groups. It's a great bunch of people! I say people because there are a few guys in the pack. You don't hear from them much, but once in awhile they chime in a chat!
Welcome and have a great day! That's sure a little cutie in your arms!
