Good Evening Aubrie, Here it is Jan. and I have not yet finished my sewing for my grandbabies. They will need there robes before spring. My quilting has been put on the back burner until my sewing projects are completed.
Sorry it has taken me so long to thank you for adding me as a friend. I am here at work, I am an OR manager here In Des Moines at one of the main hospitals, and it is not very busy this morning. I envy that you will be having warm weather, when here in Iowa we are starting our cold season. Seems that we spend a lot of time inside quilitng and baking. National AQS show will be here in one week. Am looking forward to hanging some beautiful quilts. Look forward to sharing quilting and adventures with you
Hi Aubrie - thanks for adding me as your friend. When I came to this sight, there was no where to accept your invite. I'm new to this sight. I finally decided to look under the members list to see if I could find you.
I have two step-children in Houston and a daughter that lives near Dallas, TX. I have another step-daughter in Wisconisn. I also have nine grandchildren.
I'm looking forward to sharing quilting with you. Right now I have lots of projects to finish for Christmas. Some will have to wait until Valentine's Day.
Thanks for adding me as a friend - I notice you live in Port St Lucie, Fl - my sister-in-law has a home in Pt St Lucie - I try to visit her at least once a year, in February when its cold up north. I am excited about the chance to chat with quilters - right now I am a little busy with little grandkids, helping my daughter.
Thanks for the friend invitation! My life has been so hectic lately that I haven't had much time to get to know Quilt With Us very well, so I'm still learning my way around.
I live in a small town outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. I've been to Florida a few times, but am not sure where Port Saint Lucie is.
I have been quilting for about 12 years, and still can't get enough of it! I think that's true of all quilters, though, don't you? Hopefully I'll soon find the time to post a few pictures of some of the quilts I've made. Right now I'm getting ready to leave for Houston for the International Quilt Festival...can't wait to be there!!!
Hope you have a great week.
I taught my self to quilt, and made many mistakes, But It was fun, and I learn something new almost every day.
I am trying to make quilts for all my grandchildren. 18 in all.
I am in the process of making a flowering dogwood pattern. Love it.
