Oh thank you!!! We really didn't do much today. We did go to dinner and had crabs. I am sitting on the only chair left in the family room. We are having new carpet put in the whole house tomorrow. I can't even get into my sewing room right now. I can't wait for all of this to be done and I can move things back into the rooms. I HATE a mess!!!!
Please dont laugh but my grandaughter is really into fairys she pointed out your profile photo but it is so small i cant see it. could you add it to your slide show It looks like it is really beautiful
Okay-dokey! I'll be right here! I'm clever but not THAT clever (yet) Ha!
I did take an on-line class at Quilt University (yep, there is a teaching school with a million teachers that teach their techniques) But once you learn THAT technique, you can use it for any project you want to do.
I learned from Marilyn Belford. To see her work, go to
HI Kathy! Your quilts are beautiful! I like your new picture, also. I wish I had an embroidery machine. It's on the list of things to buy but so far the budget hasn't allowed it! We've got a son in college and my husband is also getting his accounting degree online, so... Anyway, maybe one day I'll get one.
Oh I know, there are several ladies in my quilt guild that have the old black feather weights that make the most beautiful quilts. I do have to tell you about a lady in our group. She is a long arm quilter and her quilting is out of this world. She loves to sew so much, when her and her husband go on long trips, she has a small sewing machine she uses on a lap desk IN their truck and sews as they are going down the road. She has all her pieces cut and has them all lined up on the dash and sews away as they are traveling! I could not believe it when she told us.
I almost bought a Disney machine not long ago but came to the realization that I don't really need 3 embroidery machines!
Did you get your hearts from the Embroidery Library?

Hi there! No it was not done by hand, I would have lost my mind. LOL It is a pattern for my embroidery machine. The site is http://www.secretsof.com/content/83. They are easy to do they just take some time. I am looking for the photos of the other ones I have done. This one is the one I like the best so far.
