Hi Edith - Ihave been very lax in keeping up with all my friends. How old is your granddaughter now? I thought of you because I I picked a pattern in Amish country called Shadow Daisies and I knew I had seen it before. So I got to checking around and came upon it in you pictures. The one I saw in Berlin was made in blues and it was pretty too. Hope this finds you well. My husband is taking a series of 4 chemo treatments and has 1 to go. Sort of a maintenance backup. So he is not a happy trooper for about 4 or 5 days. Hope to hear from you soon. Jean
What a beautiful baby! Glad to see you back. I was gone for several months too. My husband was very ill and took all my time and energy just helping him get the chemo tretments. He is so much better now and will have a check up on Mar 7. Hopefully all is stil well.
Just wanted to say Welcome back and I hope I can stay a little more active now.
Wow, it is over 2 years since I spoke to you last. I dropped out because Connecting Threads does not send to Australia and it makes it very hard to try to get the same fabrics or similar fabrics over here. I also broke my wrist over a year ago and it is just now beginning to let me do things like slicing fabric because I could not pressure on a ruler. So hopefully will be getting back into the swing of things again. Have only been able to do hand sewing or paper pieding in the meantime.
I wondered where you have been but after reading your profile, I don't have to ask. lol How on earth do you manage a restaurant and take care of your diaper business. I hope your enjoying the Christmas Season as you juggle your time between job, family, housework and sewing.
So glad to hear from you. I understand about working and no time for sewing / quilting. DH and I are teaming in his truck so during the time I was used to being parked and could sew is now time for sleeping while DH is driving. We have driven 110,000 miles from Jan 1 to April 30. We are home....got home today and will be home till about Tuesday, but since we haven't been home hardly at all everything is piled up. Hope to get some time to sew and maybe make a trip to the LQS.
Hi Edith, It's been so very long since we have heard from you. I guess you are very busy with your new business and that's awesome, but it would be great just to hear how it's all going and that you are doing well! Hope to hear sometime soon!
Edith I was impressed with all your quilting projects I can see you stay busy, love the pets listed, your sewing machines. LOL You have made a number of large sizes, I think most of mine are gone now given to the children or sold. I know I have one on my guest bed not sure I have a photo of that one will have to look. I love applique and Baltimore style quilts as I enjoy the hand work, keeps me busy at night. Thanks for the kind birthday greetings it was a neat surprise. Marge
