In ten months and counting. I think I will count the actual days. I can't wait. I love my Gammill. It is wonderful. I do quilts for people, so if you or anyone you know needs one done, I will do them. I have a web site that went down after Apple stopped hosting it. They changed everything around. I have another hosting company, but need to call them to redirect the site. It is: stitchmanythreads.com.
Hi Sheila, looks like I am seeing you over on the embroidery site too. I am doing the bird block exchange. This is the first time I have ever done anything like it and I am a little nervous but looking forward to doing it too. Hope we can meet up in Ohio soon.
Please keep me posted. Like I said, I would love to meet you and your family! Yes, sarcastic ... dry ... both a lot of fun. LOVE IT! Mine is both a little dry and a lot sarcastic. So ... we should get along just fine. Keep me posted.
Hi Sheila ... Yep - a little older. LOL You are funny! My mom's birthday is on the 25th of June! You know ... if you want to "get together" when you are in this area (family included), I will send you a private message with all my pertinent information. I would LOVE to meet you! And, my hubby is quite entertaining ... very DRY sense of humor! Glad you joined the ME group and befriended me.
Thanks, Sheila! It's Anita Gooddesign, called Shrinky Flowers. It was fun to make, you use the Texture Magic to shrink the fabric, giving it a fluffy look on the shirt. There's lots of flowers to choose from, some are whimsical looking. Have fun! ~Hopppy quilting~
Sheila, thanks for the compliment on my work. I love the pincushion you made - and learning how to use all those wonderful stitches on our machines is so much fun!. I have a Viking Lily machine and it shows you how to put different things together to make a larger design. Maybe one of these days I'll drag out the book and try to make something!
So funny, we are our own worst critics. I didn't notice too many light fans together at all -- I actually was thinking how nicely you spaced the variety of designs. Noone but you will ever thik that -- but I know how you feel; I see everything I wish I would have changed too!
Hi Sheila - please think about joining the OH quilters group here. We'd love to have you in the group and at any of our in-person get togethers. We choose spots around the state - trying to stay central for everyone. Here are a bunch of us at the NQA show in Columbus last week. It's amazing to me that I likely would never have had the opportunity to meet these wonderful ladies had it not been for this forum and they have become such good, good friends. I am so grateful that our paths in life crossed!
