Hey Jackie, just checking on you, hope all went well yesterday with the move, I am sure you are physically and mentally drained. Just know it will be so much better for your dad and the nurses will be able to help him so much more than anyone else can. Hope the day is better today and try to get in a little sewing. See you tomorrow and we all share your concern and wish to take some of the weight off your shoulders.
Thanks for the comment Jackie. The pattern is called "Newport Beach" and is in the "Scraps" book by Judy Martin. It was shown in brights and that's what she wanted. I was able to use stash for the bright colors - just had to buy the backgrounds.
Can you bring your cowboy material to work on Monday, I got some fabric from the QS that i may be able to use for one border on Joyce's Baby quilt, but not sure if the gold will work, I hope to have it pieced and will need your advice.
Jackie, beautiful quilt and wonderful label. You do some really interesting backs on your quilts as well as good labels. I am going to have to try some hand made labels-I usually use some pre-printed ones that I have. Happy quilting,Pat A
Thanks for the welcome. If you're in the neighborhood stop in for some good old southern fun and food (I am from New Orleans, moved after Katrina, grands live here). I can shovel snow, but I can't shovel water. LOL WE have 2 quilt shops in town. Maybe you and some friends can make a road trip. May all your ups and downs be in stitches. Deb M.
Hi Jackie, I checked my back issues and I don't have fall 2009. I have winter 2009. If you have time - no hurry - could you check to make sure "Walk About" is in that issue? I can buy the issue on line but didn't see a pattern called "Walk About" listed in the table of contents. Thanks for any help you can give me! Shirley
