Hi Kathy, today is the exchange date and I am not at it either. Do miss seeing you at the exchange, but I have not been able to go for awhile. More mental then physical. I need a brain overall I think. Sure hope you can do the next exchange, I do them not for the blocks but for the chance to see everyone, then I don't end up going. Go figure that.
Hope all is well or at least better with your husband. Do hope he starts to get better and takes better care of himself.
How are you doing? I know what a sick husband can do to your health. Please be sure to take care of you at least 1/2 as much as you take care of him. You deserve to be healthy too you know, without you a lot of us would not get along well.
Kathy Becky puter is not working now, SO come north on MI 127 to M57 Greenville/Chesing exit Turn L WEST and go about 7 miles to Perrinton. Turn Right North go to the Post Office Elba Street Turn Left, go 4 blocks they set kitty corner at the corner.
114 Elba Street. Phone number 989-236-7663 Mike or Jean may answer the phone, MOM or DAD Troub. Or maybe a dozen others could answer. BUT they will talk you in to the house. It is a White Ranch house. I will send you my cell phone number later it is downstairs.
Kathy I answered my own question, I found a response from Terri that she had received her blocks from me and I copied it and sent it to her. Thanks for your help. I am sorry I bothered you with this but I knew that you would know who came to each exchange. I am starting to have a sour feeling about these exchanges. I have not heard a word from Sandy this time either. Do you think she will come? I have my doubts. If some of these girls do not come I may suggest that they not be allowed to join another exchange. Some have logical reasons but others I have my doubts. Barbara J is a dear friend of mine but is having trouble remebering things. I am very worried about her.
Kathy I have a question for you, Did Terri come to the spring fling exchange? I do not recall her being here nor is she in any of the pictures that are on the site you took. I can be wrong, but she said she sent money for her blocks to be sent back to her and can anyway and never got her money back. SO she didn't send money this time. BUT I am VERY sure I sent everyone back blocks that sent me money to return them, Please help me out on this. Thanks Gloria
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Kathy, I have been making suggestions to Sandy about the blocks,( She is the one who was in charge right?) but she totally ignores any thing about them. Do you know if she has the other ones we were to get? We are still missing some blocks are we not?
It makes for bad feelings not to know what is going on with her. I don't think she has her blocks done, is that right? if she can not get them done I will gladly put some together to make up her blocks for that exchange. BUT I need to know what is going on first, and she does not seem to answer any questions about it and acts as if all is OK with everyone that she has not sent on the rest of the blocks. Please let me know if I am out of line with this thinking..
As for the tables they are wonderful, ok maybe I am a bit one sided but everyone that has had one would not be without it now. It has a cover on it so you can iron on it, but if you want to do sticky crafts or use it for a tv tray I put saran wrap that sticks on it and it works great. I use them all the time, three of my DIL's have them and they love them too.
Kathy I have two or three sergers one is a coverlock.. A coverlock is the hem on a sweatshirt or t-shirt. They are very handy and they make a true hem, where as a serger some of them cover the edge of the fabric but do not make a hem while doing it. I hope that is clear.
My coverlock is originally a $850. 00 machine and I am selling it for $400.00 and the other serger is a $1000.00 machine and I am selling it for $500.00.
Kathy, would you be interested in an embroidery machine? Or serger? I have them still forsale and would really like to sell them I need the space. As you will see when you come. I have Janome 10001 embroidery machine that was a demo in my store so it was used a little bit. It also has some embroidery items loaded on it that you can not get anywhere, long story, but they are great. It sold new for 6000. but I only want $3500. for it to get it out of here. It is in perfect condition, My husband is a Licenced Janome repairman and he has gone all through it and it is in great condition. I just don't need this many machines. Let me know.
Kathy a personal ironing table is aprox 18 inches by 36 inches. It sets on a slant so not to tire your arm while useing it ane it is padded for ironing. they are wonderful to set by you while your sewing so you don't have to jump up all the time. I use one all the time, We make them and they sell for $45.00 .
Hope you get this Kathy, My phone is 989-842-5216 I am open for suggestions on food, thought it could be simple but good. Sloppy joes and cheesy potatoes maybe for a meal or what ever anyone suggests. That is just a suggestion. I am very flexible.
Hi Kathy... somehow I missed your message to me asking about the BQ2 quilt pattern. It's a pattern put out by Maple Island Quilts and can be found on their site..www.mapleislandquits.com. It's quick and easy to do.
