Delinda, hope you have had a very happy birthday. We have been working on our wood all day and I didn't get a chance until now to send your wishes. Hope you enjoyed your special day! Love your Raggedy Ann dolls.
Hi Delinda and Happy Birthday. I hope the day has gone good for you and you have been able to do something special for yourself. Come join us in some of the groups and share in the fun. The ladies are nice, helpful and supportive.
I like you black hen. I had to sell all my chickens and goats since I'm on oxygen and it was too hard on my breathing to get out in our heat and humidity to take care of them.
Love and Hugs, Dee
I think I will try to find the book first so as not to inconvience you but I truely appreciate it! I'm new to needlepoint but I love sunbonnet sues-my mom has been getting me vintage sue quilts lately so I want to do something myself and that looks like a project I can tackle!
Thanks for the nice words on my quilts, I'm new so it can be a challenge but having my mom helps. She does great work and can usually answer my questions! I love your star quilt, very pretty! I haven't tried anything with points yet!
Hello Delinda: Thank you for the nice compliment on my flour sack log cabin. I really lucked out on this fabric, found it at JoAnns. It was made by Daisy Kingdom for only one year, and it is really flour sack texture. I found a similar fabric in white with same texture to match....I really enjoyed putting it together, it has a real vintage look and feel....I just love your dolls, raggedty anns hold a special memory in my childhood....Also have to say I just love your chicken, Have a Blessed New Year, Nancy
Hi Delinda, and thanks for your comment on my log cabin, everyone seems to like that one! It's just made from scraps from other projects. Is that a REAL chicken? I had to laugh, it reminded me of my childhood when we had chickens and my sister had a pet chicken named Evelyn. Thanks for the memory!
