Hi Cecile, thanks for the comments about my quilts. I really need to update them and put some new ones in. I love yours too. You asked how I find time. Well, it is just what I do in the evenings when I stop working. And some weekends. My dream is to be able to stay  home and do this all the time. And may pigs fly! LOL! Just not enough hours in the day. I love to read as well so sometimes combine both and "listen" to books while I sew. Have a great evening!

Thanks for looking and the comment on the Polar Bear Quilt. It really isn't a pattern but a foam stamp of white fabric paint on purple fabric. An idea I HAD to come up with for a special request quilt.

Your quilts are awesome.

I have been doing good and I wanted to tell you what I did today. I went to town to the Hancock's Fabric store to look at the Bernina machines. I am still trying to figure out what kind I will settle for. Anyhow they had a Aurora 440 set up on their new Bernina frame. Of course it is set up small scale due to space but I was very pleased with the frame and the carriage seemed to just glide along so easy. I did not have the same feelings about their machine though. The throat space was soooo small. I think they said 8inches but it looked more like about 6 inches of quilting space. I loved the quilting foot as it has a built in stitch regulator. There is no way I could ever afford the next size up and it was only a 12 inch throat. I did have fun sewing on it though. I guess you might say i had might second demo run today. I still think I would be happiest with a "Tin Lizzie".

Okay so now that i run out of talking I am going to go do my birthday run and I will chat more later on...................

Well,I have gone through every magazine in my collection and could not find the 2007 issue. I have the 2003 but I don't guess that will help me to make a snowman quilt. I have even tried to find it from some places that sell back issues with no luck. I am not giving up yet. I will keep searching and see what I can find. I appreciate your help. Thanks........

Thankks Cecile, I really appreciate this. I think I just might have both issues. I have become a subscriber because our local Wal-Mart quit selling fabrics. Sometimes you can find a few magazines ,though. I am going now to check my collection of old issues. Thanks sew much..........

Please tell what the pattern is for the snowman quilt. Is it wall hanging size or lap size? I collect snowmen and every year at Christmas I try to add a snowman to my collection. Maybe this could be my snowman for 2009.
