Enjoy quilting and sewing...end up giving most quilts away! Do some machine embroidery, mostly doing quilt labels and cards, but have digitized for friends. Love to hoard thread and fabric...a compulsion I find many share!
Have added the HQ Avante to my sewing room and LOVE IT! Can't say enough good things about this machine!

Thanks for your comments on the benefit quilt. It was quite successful. The LaConner quilt museum is a wonderful place with ongoing displays of various quilters. It is a very nice place to stop in if you are ever in the pacific northwest. It was a labor of love put together by quite a few people. The store owner in Sedro Woolley who donated all the fabrics & supplies sadly passed away this year. His wonderful wife has taken over the store and it is thriving! By the way, I love your columbine quilt. It is blooming along the highways & trails here now. It looks like you live in a beautiful area of our country as well.
Thanks for commenting on my arched window! I missed "catching" all three layers in about an inch area, so I can see the batting in a small area on the back. Plus I'm not real pleased with the corners. I plan to just get it finished and move on. I know quilting isn't an exact science & perfection is a "myth". Georgia
Dejah,, thanks for your comments on my Mariner's Compass. It is not my design, and I believe it can still be purchased. The designer is Sara L Madson and if you google her name, I believe an email address will come up. A friend in Canada did this, and was able to purchase the pattern.
I am sorry i did not post back to you about you asking about "Triangle on a roll" here is the website to learn more about them http://www.trianglesonaroll.com you can order from this site also and there is a book on it also. Hope this helped
Dejah, thank you for the complement on my Spring Time at the Log Cabin quilt. Log cabins are quite versatile. I like your renditions using the embroidery in Queen Vae, and the patchwork leaves in the Chevron one you have pictured. I have not yet used anything other than a plain center in mine.
