Hi everyone. I was very happy to get my Connecting Threads catalog today and find this site. I am still working so I don't have as much time to quilt as I would like. I do belong to a block of the month club at a local fabric shop and enjoy the one Saturday a month with fellow quilters. I have made 4 quilts and each one gets a little better. I still have a lot to learn and welcome any advice.

I love my Lizzie! The closeout, I believe, is on the ORIGINAL TinLizzie18. I had that one first but I've sold it to a friend, who loves it! I then bought the LS model - I like the new Lizzie Stitch and the fact that I can wind a bobbin while the machine is running. The ORIGINAL has a stand alone bobbin winder. Then, there was another machine after that but BEFORE the LS - it has a built in bobbon winder but not the Lizzie Stitch - so I really don't know which model is in the closeout! But I can tell you this - customer service at this company is second to none!! They are extremely accomodating to the needs of their customers - they really do want you to be happy. I don't think you can go wrong with a TinLIzzie, no matter what the model!! Good luck in your search for an affordable longarm.

Hi Elaine,
Thank you for visiting my page and leaving a post. The table is 14 feet. I haven't quilted a king yet, but that is the idea. =)
It is a dream come true. Pinch me. I still may be dreaming. LOL
How do you like PA? I would love to visit PA but not sure where to go.

Aww, that sounds so cute. I wish I could see those blocks better. I haven't started on my "lunch" project yet either, but I did pick out my fabrics. My husband and I are chaperoning our youth choir trip this weekend, so it will be next week before I can get back to quilting!

What a cute quilt! My goal is to do a Sunbonnet Sue quilt one day using the scraps of fabrics I used to make my daughter little sundresses when she was little. I wish I had more time to quilt, also.

Hi, Elaine, and Welcome! It's a really neat web site. If you go into the main Connecting Threads site you can find the "Let's Do Lunch " book and see what's inside. That may just be my favorite part of their web-site because I love quilting books.
Enjoy your time here!

Thanks I love quilting its such a great passion and I loved seeing the look on my moms face when I gave her the quilt. The hardest part of a photo quilt is selecting the photos to include
