Thanks Denise. My stomach has stopped absorbing several vitamins and minerals. That what is causing my problem> I eat little meals thru the day to get a certain amount of protein, etc.
but not sure what will happen with this blood in the urine thing going on now. Pray for me,
Reba, Same thing happened with my Dad and he had to go for weekly blood checks. Some weeks he would have to get a shot and others his count was within the proper numbers. I moved in with him and started making American Heart Assoc. recipes and getting him to eat 3 square meals a day plus healthy snacks and voila he stopped having to get the shots. Eat right do moderate exercise (walking) and you should be well on your way to recovery. Good luck with your projects.
Hello y'all. Are you enjoying this lovely fall weather. Leaves are starting to turn and fall. I'm not ready for winter. I like hot weather. Well, I am feeling stronger now that I have had to iron infusions and getting B-12's every month. I go in Nov. to get blood work and see how the infusion are working on the iron and red cell count. I have just not quilted all summer. I have felt so blaaaah that I had no motivation to do anything. But I have several project I am starting this next week. Wish me luck. I feel like a novice. Hope all are well. Happy quilting !!!!! WAR EAGLE !!!!!
Yes, Reba, take care of yourself. We want you healthy and feeling good.
I have been enjoying my calendar blocks. Thanks again for the neat project. I like that I can change it every month for something new to look at. Who knows, I may make some new ones now that I know how!!
Just returned from a quilting retreat in IA on Monday. It was so much fun. I got a lot of things started, but need to finish them up at home. That should keep me out of trouble for a few days.
Reba, Do not waste anytime in trying to find some medical facility to help you. Your body needs iron for just about everything to function correctly. Your energy will not come back until you get this corrected. I had to take my Dad weekly into a renal clinic to have his blood tested for this and if not a good reading he would get a shot. Believe it or not it wasn't until I moved in with him and started making him 3 meals a day that things picked up for him and the shots had to be given less and less. Good luck with everything and may God bless you!
Reba...hope you are feeling better soon....I haven't done much sewing this summer either....too hot! I'm hoping to get back into my quilting and get some things accomplished.
Connie, They turned out great! I love the bright colors of your leaves and the button in the middle makes them look like they are twirling down to the ground together. Thanks for the post as it's been quiet here for a while.
