Okay here is the newest Fast & Furious book. You'll see that I still have a fire extinguisher next to my sewing machine which has a flame on it since I'll be sewing so furiously I might spontaniously combust! Well that's the plan at least :) Let's get started on all the fun new projects in the new Fast & Furious Family Quilt As You Go book!
1. No purchase necessary
2. Timeframe: this is an ongoing group with no defined end time.
3. If you are not a member of our Quilt with Us Community yet, click the "Signup and Join" box in the upper-right corner. Once you're a member, you will see a green plus sign and a link to "Join Fast & Furious Quilting as You Go" in the upper-right of the group page. Clicking on the link will allow you to join this Quilt Along.
4. Post questions, project feedback, and pictures of your progress.
5. Cheer on your fellow quilters as you go!
6. When you post a picture of o finished project on your page make sure when you add it you put f&f as a tag so that it can be added to the album!

I'm not a newbie to quilting, but am one to this technique. I jumped on CT site the other day and your video was being advertised. Until then, I had never seen this technique, and I had no idea there…Continue

I am a long time member of "Quilting With Us" (QWU). I used to give virtual workshops here. Like many others, I have ventured out as QWU became more quiet.
We are getting the warning that QWU is at risk of being disabled. I fear this is a sign that QWU will one day be no more.
It has become like family here and the thought of losing the friendships we have developed has giving me a sad heart. Like many dark clouds, there is a silver lining. When I ventured out, I created a quilters social network, much like QWU. I never mentioned it, for it was a conflict of interest. However, in this dark hour, it is time to let others know there is an alternative. It does not have to end here.
I would be honored for QWU members to join "Pattern Pastiche". If needed, we are more than happy to create a group for your new home.

hi, is this group still going.......
Hello
I see you all posting about the twister pattern. Has anyone tried to make a wallhanging that has 1/2 sq triangles ? I found a pattern of a rabbit that has a lot of them and the ears don't march out right am i just expecting to much or is there a way to make it happen
I am! I think I will definitely have a foot in both the light and the dark!
Lisa, I used the bigger tool. It's about 40" square, I think. Sorry I didn't answer before.
I bought two more twister patterns at the quilt show this year, one is a kitty I want to make for my sis in law, and the other is a heart.
YOu are coming to the dark side of embroidery, aren't you, Teri?

Froggie, I love that twister witchy hat! Looks so cute! It's been a while since I checked in here.
I tried to make one with the larger tool but it seemed so big. I didn't end up finishing it but I think I will make another with the smaller tool.
Froggie did you use the smaller twister tool? I have both sizes . I am trying to make a bigger one, but I think I need to take a refresher class. I took a class using the smaller tool . it was fun
I usually do my embroidery by hand, however, I just got brave enough to try a few of the embroidery stitches on my machine and it went SOOOOO fast. I'm kind of in love!
Well howdy, Maimie, welcome to the group! Hand quilting? Good for you. I do everything by machine, but everyone has different likes.
