Okay here is the newest Fast & Furious book. You'll see that I still have a fire extinguisher next to my sewing machine which has a flame on it since I'll be sewing so furiously I might spontaniously combust! Well that's the plan at least :) Let's get started on all the fun new projects in the new Fast & Furious Family Quilt As You Go book!
1. No purchase necessary
2. Timeframe: this is an ongoing group with no defined end time.
3. If you are not a member of our Quilt with Us Community yet, click the "Signup and Join" box in the upper-right corner. Once you're a member, you will see a green plus sign and a link to "Join Fast & Furious Quilting as You Go" in the upper-right of the group page. Clicking on the link will allow you to join this Quilt Along.
4. Post questions, project feedback, and pictures of your progress.
5. Cheer on your fellow quilters as you go!
6. When you post a picture of o finished project on your page make sure when you add it you put f&f as a tag so that it can be added to the album!

I'm not a newbie to quilting, but am one to this technique. I jumped on CT site the other day and your video was being advertised. Until then, I had never seen this technique, and I had no idea there…Continue

I am so glad the group is still here. I want to start some QAYG projects - I have ruined so many of my projects trying to FMQ on them. I have a hand quilting class at this year's Quilt Festival - cannot wait!

Yes, it will be a wall hanging, Teri. Just noticed it's blurry. Someone must have moved when they took the pic. The QAYG made it easy to quilt. I have the outer border to finish, then the binding and label.

Froggie, I love the hat! Is it a small wall hanging? I just made one of those twister wall hangings myself and it was so fun. I think I need to make that hat for myself!

Terri, that's a cute table runner.

I love it, Teri, I don't think I have seen that kit. I made a twister witches hat, and put the rows together QAYG. And the borders. I am going to do some quilting in the hat and the borders, but here it is so far. It was fun and I like how it turned out.

That's gorgeous Teri!  I love the fall colors!

I did sew this sample, it's Q.A.Y.G. It's a pattern we kitted by Gudrun called Abundance. It was quick to make and I love the fall colors, I'm so ready for fall!

I have been doing some sewing as well but it's all been for work. A few of them have been Q.A.Y.G., I will post them when I can.

You got it, Burtine. I finally got back into the quilting room. DH came home, it's easier to quilt, he just sits and sleeps, and lets his foot heal. I don't have to go to the nursing home that depresses me! And it made me mad, too. I love babies. My hairdresser is going to be a grandma, she asked me today to make a quilt for the baby! It's a boy, his name is Leo, and the theme is baby lions. I think that is sew sweet. It will be fun. Maybe I can do it quilt as you go!

All is quiet on the western front so I think you must be quilting Linda. I didn't get to mine either.  When I picked up the shawl I noticed a glaring mistake and had to go back several rows.  Not fun when there are so many different patterns involved. I did get it sorted and am back on track.

Babies are such miracles.  Imagine at 10 weeks they are half an inch long and weigh half an ounce, or at least the is Jeni, and they already have all the organs in place.  Because of her heart and other meds they have been doing extra ultra sounds - not necessarily a good thing in my  mind but I am of a different era so keep my mouth shut. It is such a happy time.
