Good morning Ally, well your holiday will be coming to an end shortly, its always sad to leave family especially the kids, but your life at home is waiting to get back to routine. I can imagine how you have missed your sewing, but maybe you have bought some lovely fabric in HK. Our weather has been so wet, cold and damp, but the spring flowers have brightened things up,just cannot wait to get the sunshine. We have not planned any holidays yet, the world just seems in turmoil at the moment, im not inspired to travel far, it maybe scotland or a canal boat this year, we will wait and decide later. Its the gym, shopping, gardening and flopping today for me. Hope you have a good flight home. Peace and joy.

Hello Marianne. We are having our DD and family for Christmas dinner at our home, usually they like us to go to their place because the Gsons like to be around their toys, but I asked them please come to us as this will be our last Christmas at this home. We move in Jan. and stay with DD for two weeks then into our new bungalow at Jan 28.
We have been having it mild for us here in Canada about 5C today. But we know they winter will truly come, though they are saying because of El Nimo it will not be a hard winter like last year, we will see!!LOL.
Have been busy the last weeks leading up to our art show that I take part in so that behind me we are beginning to pack things we are not using right now and getting rid of things that we do 't use. So busy, busy.
We are hoping to meet up with our HK family on Sunday they are passing through Toronto on their way out to Newfoundland and have a long wait so are at the hotel at the airport so will meet up with them, probably have supper with them.

Hello ally, i noticed your comment..there had not been much activity here, so i thought i would say hello to my fellow countrywomen..smile.

Winter is certainly letting us know it has arrived, its been very cold, windy and raining, so not very conducive to putting the garden to bed for the winter, i will hope temps improve and i can go into the garden to do some pruning, leaf collection and general tidying the garden.
I have been finishing some sewing presents, so maybe tomorrow i can begin the wrapping up. I do like the Christmas season, decs, cooking and watching the childrens reaction to christmas display, we are at home and all the family come to me this year and their inlaws next year. What do you do at christmas?

I will endeavour to be a better host in the New Year, I am afraid there hasn't be much action here.
