Quilt With Us

Made from photo of my youngest son, at the Oregon Coast. He's had quite a life. The words of Amazing Grace come to mind when I think of what he's gone through: "I once was lost, but now am found."

Beautiful quilt, and a wonderful story behind it! I have a lost son as well, but he seems to be turning things round finally, and I made him a quilt for Christmas this year. It will be the first Christmas he spends with us since he was 14 years old. This is a beautiful way to find stress relief, quilt it away and pray for the the one you are quilting, for or about! It is amazing what comes out the ends of your hands sometimes

I had seen this before BJ and enjoyed it again today. I too am so touched by your post. Sometimes we do have to send them off with a wing and a prayer and hope they find their way, remembering at least part of what we've tried to instill. I just keep reminding myself that when I can't walk alongside them, God never leaves and apparently He has guided your Adam onto a better path. Thank you for the reminder and I'll look for your quilt at the show.

Wow! You did a spectatular job on this quilt. It's always so gratifying when they find the path that leads them home. My son was lost and now is found, so I know where you are coming from. Adam has had a remarkalble turn around.

This is fabulous! Such a great job. I agree with Riley. I journey along with my kids. Adam is a very nice looking guy. I am so happy for him that he is headed down the right path and has been blessed with a wonderful wife and new daughter who is adorable. Now that he has become a parent he will probably see alot of things thru your eyes he couldn't see before. Some things you have to experience to know.

Did I ever mention that I, too, have a son named Adam? I really like Riley's comment about a mother's journey. So very true! : )

BJ, I am so very touched by your post & beautiful picture above.
I don't know what has happened to your son in his life (Don't need to know) but the power of your last words in quotes is beyond words. Bless you, for a mother journeys right along with her children.((HUGS))
