Betty that was a great story about your Grandmother, I enjoyed it, their is days when I would like to tell them to fix their own meals especially when they can not get here until hours after meal time.

Keep your chin up, I know at times it seems like you can not take any more, talk with you clergy and they should be able to help you, I have some favorite places in the bible that I go to for my depression and they seem to help.  There is nothing worse then the feeling of  being alone but we are never really alone god is always with us.

Hi Betty, hope all is ok with you.  I haven't heard in awhile.

Things are hetic here as usaul, my Youngest son is at Districts in BB, so I have been busy with that, but I will not be going to any of the district games as it is too far and the weather is not predictable enough.

I have been trying to finish up some projects I started awhile ago before I start any new ones but I keep getting these ideas in my head and off I go making more ufo's.  LOL

Well my cowboy crew are on their way to the house from the barn for dinner(lunch) so I better get busy.

talk to you later.

Hi Betty sounds like you have been busy also.  This time of year is always very busy for me, cattle are calving, taxes are due (lots of paperwork), High School Basket Ball and all keep me busy.  I also have about 6 quilts in different stages that I need to get finished.

The Traveling Trivet started as a joke on the Stitches for a Year group.  There now is a group just for the Traveling Trivet, if you are interested you can join the infomation on how is on the group, I believe the name is Sista's traveling Trivet, something like that.

I am going tomorrow to my DD for a couple of days to help her start getting a room ready for a nursery.  She is expecting her first in July.  They are very excited.  I need to go finish her table topper I started for her in Oct. for her birthday and I still am not quit done with binding it.  I get to many irons in the fire and never finish anything.  Well I'd better get busy.

Betty cinnamon raisen bread is one of my favorites I like it toasted with cream cheese on it.  YUM YUM.

I am glad you son is doing ok, Working at the food pantry on wednesday, gives you something to look forward to.  I know that at times I get really bored and set in my routine by not working and pretty soon I don't accomplish anything.

I have been working on some red work embroidery and cross stitch lately, I need to quilt some tops I have done but just don't seem to be able to get into it.  Wish I could afford to send some of them to a long arm quilter but I cann't.  I  just keep trying to improve my skills on my little machine, so far I have had very little problems, but I have a hard time talking myself into starting to quilt something.

It has been raining here and the River is coming up a little, but most of all it is just muddy and our three mile dirt road is flooded, my car is just to low to the ground to take out any more so I am stuck at home.  I should be using the time wisely and quilting up a storm but I just can not make myself maybe tonight.

Hope you have a good evening

Hi Betty, It was not my son who was hurt but another boy on his football team, Matt the boy who was hurt is doing better and was able to be home for Christmas after a month and half.

I am sorry to hear about your job, I hope that if you want and need to work that you can find a job quickly.  Take  care and I will talk to again soon.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. It was good to hear from you, sounds like things are going a little bit better for you now. I live about 120 miles from Kuna. I am really out in the middle of nowhere. I have been busy with moving cattle off the range for winter and weining the calves. It is almost time to turn cattle out on the winter range so then we start all over again.
