About Me: Semi-retired, my husband and I moved to NH in August 2013. I took up quilting in 2012 but have sewn for 40+ years. I made clothes for both myself and my mother when I was in high school. With limited finances, I made my wedding dress and veil for only $50. Now I am a SABLE (Stash Available Beyond Life Expectancy) with a number of PIGS (Projects In Grocery Sacks) but I still have SEX (Stash Enhancement eXpeditions).

I remember being most proud of that bear paw block (I think that's what it's called) because the pieces were quite tiny but it all worked! I had that up on my little design board near my sewing machine as incentive that I could make it through the perfect points quilt!

At 3:44pm on March 28, 2014, Bonnie Savell said…: Hello Bonny! I'm a Bonnie also. I did the 2013 Mystery Quilt and I do not think a stripe fabric will work well for the border on this quilt. It needs to be a small print that will blend well when cut in small and large pieces and turned in different directions. I know this is as clear as mud! Just think small print in a color that will blend with your other fabrics. I have not posted pictures of the my MQ2013. I am just now figuring out how to post pics and text. Happy Sewing....Bonnie
