I have been quilting for over 30 years. I do a lot of machine piecing, prefer to quilt by hand, although lately I have been quilting on my domestic machine more just to get things finished. Many of my quilts are bed size (queen and king) so it takes awhile to get them quilted. I have begun making some smaller items, table runners, and wall hangings because they do take less time to complete.

Cat Lady, how is your husband doing now. I don't usually go to "my page' on the Connecting Threads site, so haven't kept up with this. I usually just go to the site via email about the "Around The Frame" postings.
My Hubby had some heart surgery as well recently. He had a pacemaker installed and had a valve replaced with a bovine valve. He just sailed through the 2 procedures and we were very thankful. I hope that your Hubby did well too. I quilt some every day - but not as much as I used to.
