I discovered Quilting 5 years ago while taking care of my Grandmother. After she passed away, my Mother started becoming sicker and although she already lived with me I became her caretaker.Quilting became my saviour. When I couldn't sleep, I quilted. When we were waiting to see Doctors, Dialysis, Physical therapists, I quilted. I came across this site a few years ago and have made many friends and learned many things.
My Mother has passed away and now I have to find out where life takes me next , I do know quilting will always be a big part of my life.

a little about me
I am grateful everyday to be alive and try to give back to the Universe as much as I can. Not very much in the monetary sense, but trying to make life easier if I can for everyone who needs my help.
Thanks Denise. I love my white hair too. I saw your friend request and accepted it. Have been playing with some ideas for my swap cards, now have to make a stop at JoAnn's to replace what I can't find that is just perfect. Hope they turn out like I've pictured in my mind.
Thanks Denise, was thinking of you the other while looking at your postcard on my wall. Hope each day gets better for you. Glad to see you are in the Fall Swap with a difference and hope you enjoy being part of it, one thing I like is it is not a rushed thing, as summer can be a busy time for folk. Have a great day. Ally.
Denise, your parcel arrive with the PC PC swap I'm so pleased with it you did a great job on the TP. and can even see I am improving the more I do. Sorry I haven't started yours yet but this last week has been a lost cause, as I have been in bed with bronchitis and felt pretty rough but I have meds. and I seem to be picking up so hopefully will get at my machine soon. I have your address from your envelope so I will know where to send it. Thanks again. I just love sunflowers.
Denise, Did you ever get Block #4 on the SS Swap? I just sent out what I thought was #5, but received another #5 for you today. So, Now I am totally confused (not that I am ever not confused)! Let me know, so I can get this one straightened out. Thanks, Carol
PS I love the Greek Key border on the Peppie le Phew quilt!
