About Me: I love to Quilt. We have a quilt group here in Wamic/Maupin area that is called The Scrapbag Quilters. We get together once a week. I go twice a week to a weight lifting class. It is a lot of fun. I love to take pictures. I have a new grandson. I have one husband and 2 daughters and a cat. The area that I live in is called Pine Hollow area. It is quiet and peaceful here.
I work the summer months at the Oasis Resort on the Deschutes river. The river has people coming from all over for fly fishing and river rafting. Come and enjoy. Stop in at the Oasis for our famous milkshakes.

So little time so many quilts

I have been so busy. My quilt group, The Scrapbag Quilters, of Maupin/Wamic, Oregon, just had a retreat to the Oregon coast. It was wonderful. We spent 4 days and 3 nights quilting and enjoying the get away before summer starts. We stayed at Beachcomber's in Gleneden Beach just south of Lincoln City. The lady that owns it is a quilter and she has the room set up for quilting. She took a 3 car garage with lots of windows into a wonderful place for meeting and sewing. Columbia River Quilt Guild

Saturday a few of us went to the quilt guild meeting in Stevenson, Washington. It was so much fun. It was the guild's Second birthday. We are doing some wonderful things. There are a lot of people from all along the Columbia River.

When ever we get to go somewhere there are quilt shops we have a great time. It is always fun to get away from the snow and icy roads.
