Hi Janice, I know it's been way to long, so sorry...... I am trying to get a tad caught up and am doing it slowly. How are you doing and what is new your way? I think we are finally into summer and hopefully it will be a good one.
Our guild has it's quilt show in Aug. again this year and I am working on get a couple in the show now.
It's just been a crazy busy time for us all I guess. Winter was nuts, spring didn't come and then it did in full force, so it seems. Now here we are into the mid of it all!
Have a wonderful day and hope to hear from you soon!
Hugs,
Carol
Paulette
Thank you :) :)
So sorry to hear that. They are such good companions. My daughter has a part bassett and part kerr dog. He looks more like a bassett and is very strong. My daughter has three children so they can deal with him.
Hubby and I don't have a dog right now. We work an hour away from home and leaving a dog home alone for such a long day just isn't fair. One day (hopefully sooner than later) I will retire and have a dog. I want to be able to have a fenced yard too so it can go outside without worrying about it.
I just browsed your pictures. I love them all! You are quite talented. I also love the pup....so adorable
Good morning janice, i am delighted to be your quilty friend. I dont seem to be very productive at the moment, so many things getting in the way. The latest is davids secretary has given in her notice understanderbly, her husband has cancer and naturally she wants to be with him, work becomes not important, but, i have been asked to help with the process of job descriptions, interviewing, contracts etc. I had put all that away in my brain since retiring, now revving up a little, i dont mind really its just the time, stop moaning marianne i am telling myself and get on with it. Its a hot hot morning today.
Hi Janice, Happy Birthday, your machine cabinet looks amazing, if you get as much enjoyment out of it as I do, you will be a very happy quilter, great, hope you are getting ready for those dark days to come when you can be really productive
I actually came across it this morning when I was looking for inspiration for a project I have to do for College on Pinterest. I have quite a few boards on patchwork and quilting there
Hi Janice. I was just reading about your grandsons' request for another quilt and him wanting the " brights". If you take a look at the front page of the web site www.suzyssitcom.com - you might see what you're looking for. It has black and all the brights in jewelled batiks or you could use whatever you think it was just a thought. I have 3 grown boys and they always liked the very bright or gaudy colours for quilts too. Chat soon - Mags x
A very Merry Christmas & all the best wishes for the coming New Year, Janice. Hope you are doing well.
Hugs Genevieve

Hello Janice, Hope your doing well. I am in the process of moving right now, 2 1/2 weeks to go. Going to North Carolina. I had some difficulty this summer and was severely sick, but now I am doing better. I put my sewing machines away-so I am sort of missing it. need to go to our Guild Tomorrow night going to be crying instead of being happy..
Hope your doing ok~
Dear Janice,
I hope this note finds you well. I haven't been onto some of the groups here on QWU so I missed some of your messages. You have been a real angel sending us those lovely messages every month, and I truly appreciate them, they are so uplifting. Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and thoughtfulness brightens my day. I pray that the Lord give you strength and courage as you battle this illness.
With love and hugs across the waters - Aida
Thank you very much for the Angel Janice. I am glad to see you are still here . Hope all is going well with you. I am starting to quilt again but no finished project yet. May be awhile
I am going to look at your beautiful quilts now..
Janice, the New Years card is so nice. Thank you so much. I'm wishing you a Happy New Year with good health, happinest, and surrounded by people who love you.
Janet, Thanks for the Christmas wishes. The card is beautiful. The area where I live was flooded by The Sandy Storm. No electric for weeks. The neighborhood is still devastated but we are rebuilding. I lost my car and was cold for a while but otherwise OK . Please say a prayer for the families who lost everything.
