Hey Joanne, Hi! I'm still utility quilting on that experimental piece and R is signed up for summer classes, yay! The heat is killing me again and can't believe this same body could stand it years ago when I was much younger. For the first time I won't have anything to put in our show next month...too much is going on emotionally w/immediate family and C being home...I just cant get organized and entry forms are due today...I don't think I'm gonna make it.
Hope you are doing well with your 'group' and the challenge and you don't owe a single penny, my good friend! Hugs and more later I am, Lois
Glad to hear that Karen Stone lived up to expectations--her work is great, glad that you could make it. Hope that work is going well? Still counting on seeing your georgeous quilt very soon??? Just finished my first Aran sweater I designed from scratch and am knitting off some sock blanks that I dyed--my red fingernails prove it!! Hope that your trip is fantastic!!
OK...i got the shawl pinbasted yesterday now to move up to ramp speed and plug the Machine into the dining room outlet and brave the territory of machine quilting!
(oh, and where's my beer?) :D That will help me relax my shoulders! ha!
congrats on Dano! fingerz crossed that he crosses the sea for that trip! I'm ticked as i can't find the matching thread i bought aeons ago for machine piecing my dresden blocks so i can then applique my flower to the row. So whether i like it or not i'm going through my 'studio' with attitude and clearing/cleaning/tossing fabric in order to find that dang thread...whatever it takes right? (fabric i don't want is going to a needy elderly quilter w/tonz of time and energy!) Later, Jo...till then have a great day/week and sunshine down south there...we need it too! :D
