About Me
I love to quilt, my favorite room in my house is my sewing room, it's my own little retreat. I keep saying I will sell a quilt but I just keep giving them away! I am married to a wonderful man who is my greatest fan, but also teases me about giving all my quilts away. Love meeting other quilters and find they are some of the nicest people around.

1 Lab "Matilda"

Words found scratched on the wall of an insane asylum in Califorina, 1917

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Tho stretched from sky to sky.

(I'm thinking the person wasn't all that crazy!)

Thank you Julia for your kindness and phone call when Mr Man passed away.  It meant so much to me.  I will keep you in my thoughts, please keep me in yours.  Hugs to you my sweet friend. May God keep you and your family in the shadow of His Wing in the days and weeks to come.  Love, Linda

Wow Julia you are fast!  Thank you so much, I have been watching this book for a few months and kept hoping they would change something so I could at least contact them.

Can I send you a pay pal payment?  Might be the fastest and easiest.

Don't forget that I will need to send postage to get it here as well.

Julia, I was wanting to know if you would share with me about where you buy your pantos and also do they cover the entire width of a quilt?  I know that we had discussed this once before but my finances were not right and I cannot find the spot where I wrote the info.  Thanks you!

Hi julia.  Thanks for the compliment.  I loved looking thru your quilts - beautiful.  The kaleidoscope of color and the daisy one are my favorites.  Your quilting is beautiful too.  I just got a LA about a month ago and am loving it - lots of practice needed still.  Your DH could sell those thread cabinets - did he make your quilt hangar too? - both are really nice.

My 1st Blue Ribbon

Posted on September 29, 2012 at 5:57pm 7 Comments

I just won my first blue ribbon at a local Guild quilt show. The quilt was a Round Robin that I organized almost 2 years ago. The piecing was finished about a year ago and I finally found the time to quilt it this year. I posted pictures in my photos.

Ok I am trying to get some projects finished up. About five projects that need the binding finished up, but I seem to have a problem...a big problem....a 65 pound black problem! Matilda is just having none of it, she wants all my attention so I give up and will try another time.…
