Oh I started sewing when I took 4-H in grammer school. I made aprons and biscuits for the fair and actually won a blue ribbon or two. That was a very long time ago. I tell people (like SILs that are non sewers) I am not a sewer any more that I only do quilty things now. Broke up the asking me to do things like mend and sew on buttons. I barely keep DH's and I's mending done, oh I do do the mending for my DGGS who is now 6 years old. He makes my world go around.CUL
Good luck using up your stash. Mine only gets bigger. Sounds like you have a lot of quilt shop temptations. I'm just itching to get out and go shopping. Don't need anything, just want to shop. What is your current project? I'm finishing a Chtristma tree skirt dor my dnl. I also surprised her with a pumpkin wallhanging. And for my sisters in august, I'm making counted cross stitch paper weights. That will be a real surprise cause we never do anything for each other.
Kate, just realized you had asked me to be your friend. Looking forward to our online chats.
Love that line "God is sufficient for me at any age!!!" How true and the older we get the more we appreciate that statement.
