About Me
I am a Mom of 5, Nana of 10, 9 boys and 1 girl. 2 of them & their Mom live with me, my dh passed in November. I do miss him, we were married 53 years. I started Quilting about 5 yrs ago. Why did I wait so long???? I Love it and am so addicted. I do some quilting every day, from small to med size. I have yet to do a large bed size quilt, but I will. Has anyone made a Tee shirt memory quilt? I so want to do one for a Grandson who is graduating in June. I absolutely love Connecting Threads, so I know Quilt with Us will be great. Looking forward to meeting fellow quilters. I did make the t-shirt quilt and it came out great. My Grandson loves it.

We have a group of 6 Friends who live in the same community and try to meet every 2 weeks. Two Gals Pat and Sherry are very experienced and talented Quilters who are helping the rest of us. Linda, JoAnne, Anne and I are new to the Wonderful World of Quilting, and very excited with what we are learning. The picture I posted was at our Christmas Luncheon. L to R Linda, Kaye, JoAnne, Anne, Pat and Sherry. Looking forward to learning and sharing with all the Quilters at Quilt With Us.

spring is getting closer here in Michigan.  What a long winter. I need to get out and do some yard work instead of sewing.

Well, how was your summer. Beautiful here. Just starting to get back into my sewing. Working on a table runner for my niece who lives in Brooklyn, a quilt for my son and a Block of the month project which I'm two months behind. Had to turn on the heat the other day just to take the chill off the house. I hope fall is just as nice as our summer has been. Happy Sewing.

What a great time we had in Paducah. Bought quite a few things but didn't go over board. Now I have to get in the sewing mode again. The weather here has been beautiful. It's going to his 90 this week. 20 degrees about normal. To nice to be inside sewing. I think the machine might collect a little dust.
Are you working on anything special.

Hi Kaye, I haven't been on this sight is a long time. I hope all is well with you. What have you been working on. I have been into 1800's fabric. I'm making the Civil War Tribute quilt. Lots of pieces. The weather has been pretty nice here. Winter went by fast. Not much snow. I'm going to the quilt show in Paducha, Ky next month. I can't wait. I need a vacation. I'm been saving every penny I can. It should be a great time. Take Care
