My sister came to see me from Arkansas. She got here on the 4th. What a surrprise. First time since we were kids we were togeather for it. And for my B-Day on the 5th. They were here for 10 days. What fun we had. She made her first purse. And is going to make more for christmas. We also went to the Sister's Quilt Show. What a nice day.
Going in for surgery on Monday for my shoulder. I tore it when I fell a few months back. No sewing or driving for awhile. Guess I will just have to read more Continue

Finished a quilt for one of my grandsons his B-day is in June. Also have a quilt at the quilters now getting quilted. That is for one of my son's and his wife. Both their B-Days are in May. The table runner is made from the scraps of my son's quilt. So I'm going to take a trip to see a son and his family in Texas.

Mystery Quilt done.

I finally found the time to get this quilt done. I started it on the first and then had to leave it. Just finished it last night. Sometimes you think you have a lot of time and then someone comes along and changes that. I did enjoy seeing all the others completed. It was fun picking out the colors and not knowing what it would look like.

Thank you all for the lovely comments.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. The pattern is called "OUTLAWS DREAM" bY Alice Bester, Rocky Morris and Betty Green all of Baker City, Oregon. I changed the border some because I ran out of fabric. But it still worked.

Hi Linda, Thank you for joining both of my groups! I'd like to use two of your quilts in the group slideshows, if you don't mind. I need you to tag your tablerunner "scrapbags" and the string quilt as strings. Thank you. I love your quilts, especially Spring Garden. Very nice.

Thank you and I'm going to put it in my favorites, so I can look at it and then maybe print if off. It did look very easy to put together and I've got some left over material and other that will work. Thanks again.
