Jody's Fabric and Crafts is a great Ebay store to shop with! She's super friendly, and her fabric combinations are wonderful! I usually purchase her pre-cut squares-4 inch and 5 inch-and they are accurate, well blended, and arrive quickly. She'll even put together custom packs for you! When I want quilt squares-Jody is my 1st choice every single time!

Mention that you know me or found out about her from my CT page and she'll work out a discount with you!

thanks for your lovely comments on Wanda Wabbit! I have a most wonderful crazy quilt/embellisher instructor.  I simply took her instructions and flew away with them creating my own designs. That is the magic of quilting!!

I was just thinking of you today and wondered what you were up to! What are you working on now? I am peicing a quilt using the Good Night Monkey line for a future step-grandchild (My daughter's boyfriend's son--you have to adapt to what life brings your way! ;) I have the finished blocks laid out on the floor and again my husband has to play hopscotch to get to the office area. The pattern I am using is the Funky Windows Quilt and it has large squares which really shows off some of the larger prints to their best effect. I can see already that it is going to be just adorable. When I finish this one, I have to make another one for the little brother who loves cats, so I have some fabric from the XOXO the Cat line which I think will turn out just as adorable.
My husband and I went camping over the Memorial Day weekend in Utah near the Bears Ears and Dark Canyon. We took our mountain bikes and had a fabulous time! It is a high alpine desert area so it was cool enough for us to ride around for 4-5 hours at a time. We explored miles and miles of off-road areas and plan to go again in the Fall to continue exploring areas we didn't have time to see. There is a hike of the canyon we hope to do also. I know you live in Utah, so you may know the area. If you haven't been there and your family is in to doing that sort of thing, I would highly recommend it!
Hope you are enjoying your quilting!

Thanks for your input on my quilts. I really enjoyed making them and can't wait to start new ones! I checked out your pictures. You make such a wide variety of quilts! How in the world you get so much done with 6 kids is beyond me!!! My two are on their own and I never seem to have enough time to get everything done. We travel a lot, but when we are home all I want to do is quilt or knit or cross stitch or crochet. My husband is a big one for biking, hiking, rafting, etc, and that really cuts in to my sewing time! Nice to have a big family, huh--you never run out of excuses to make another quilt!

Thanks for the nice comment on my Baltimore quilt. I do enjoy doing the embroidery (and have to use my machine as much as possible so my husband won't think it was wasted money). Your work is lovely and it looks like you do some of everything, especially spring flowers. I like 'The witch is in" I need to make one of those to hang in the kitchen on my not too cheerful days so my husband knows not to mess with me! Thanks again.

Thank you for the compliment on my "Shakespeare..." quilt. I wish I could say I enjoyed making it, lol. I love your homespun quilt with the hearts and stars. Is that a buggy barn pattern?

There are some ladies that belong to our guild, they have a spin off mini guild called "Ladies who Run with Scissors". They actually had their own little quilt show a few years back, its' a very artistic group, and they were on the local news. It was pretty cool.

Thanks for the compliments on the applique quilt, but it's a customer's quilt, not mine! I was showing the detail of the quilting (have my own quilting biz), although that doesn't show up well in that picture.
Read your profile info: are we related?? lol
