I am so sorry to hear you were ill! I hope you are feeling much better now. It takes time to get your strength back after that. Just make sure you get plenty of rest and fluids and you will be back to your sweet self soon!
I would be happy to send you a page of elongated hex shapes for you to use as templates for the POTC blocks. Can you please send me your mail address? You can send it to my Inbox so that I am the only one that sees it.
I looked up the quilt you mentioned. It's really pretty! Looks like that will keep you busy for a while! ;o) Pinks and greens are so lovely together.
We had our final adoption hearing this last Wednesday so our nephew is now officially our son! We went through a lot to get him here. It took a full 2 years struggling through immigrations to bring him here from Pakistan!!! He has been with us since December. He has made such great progress in his language and behavior. I think we will keep him lol Just joking! We love being parents!
Take good care! xoxox

Oh goodness....never sell yourself short! If it looks good to you, then it probably does to everybody else too! Just feel happy and play with fabrics of all kinds! What quilt kit did you buy in Paducah? I wouldn't know what patterns to send to you....you need to give me some idea lol Do you want to use up some scraps or do a pattern where you will have to get new fabrics? Do you want something with large pieces that is a bit easier or something that will challenge you more? I could send you a block pattern once in a while when you are ready for the next one....like a BOM....whatever you like dear!
Hi dear friend! It's so wonderful to see your sweet comments and messages.....I sure missed you! I got all of the basket blocks up on my design board to see how I want to arrange them now. Next thing is to strip piece the sashing and alternating blocks so I can get that finished finally lol The next thing I need to get done is the Jinny Beyer Moonglow quilt I have started. Both of these quilts are for my daughters. The elder one is graduating in May (after 5 years of college) and the younger one is going to graduate a semester early in December!!! The Moonglow quilt is much more difficult so that will be challenging. I have only 2 of those blocks finished. I have a lot of patterns in my collection if you would like to have any of them. I can scan them and send PDF files for you anytime! What are you interested in working on? RE: POTC blocks....I was really intimidated by them too and the first one actually took me 3 full hours but each one was easier and better than the one before so it's just a matter of practice and persistance! I actually machine stitched mine since the stitching lines are all printed on the fabric you can start and stop at those dots that are printed. Do you like to hand stitch? I don't....I'm always in too big of a hurry!!! ha ha ha Do you like to do applique? I have never really done any of that but I have some neat patterns that I would like to grow up and do someday! ;o)
Linda we are hanging in there and trying to make it. If they don't raise the rent or anything else we should be able to slip right on by. LOL I was so happy to see you in here and am glad that you are ready to fight the fight.
Hi Linda just wanted to send you a big HUGS>>>>! Miss you still.
