I am up here in Nebr for graduation. Boy it's cold and windy the last couple of days, but today seems nice....at least the sky is blue and the wind is calmer. I will have to wash the car now! ;0) I had to laugh when you said the bus left from Belleville, KS....what a tiny town that is! How far are you away from there? If it left at 6:00 a.m. you must have had to get up REALLY early that day to get there.....or did you go there the night before? There is an Alco here and they had their fabrics for $1.99 a yard....found some nice Judy Rothermel/Marcus Bros fabrics so I was happy about that. At least I got my fabric fix....and at a great price!
Oh you lucky ducky! So many nice shops! I love the shop in Derby. I wish I would have known you were in Wichita!!!! I would have run to meet you there! It's okay though, I know you were with a large group and didn't have a whole lot of time at each place. We will work something out later on hopefully. I'm glad you had a good time. WOW you covered a LOT of territory!!! Glad you are home safe and sound. Have a great weekend!
The bus shop hop sounds like a blast! Do you have a list of the shops you will be visiting? I would love to do that one day! I better start saving up eh? lol I'll bet you are looking forward to relaxing a bit more after school is out. Winter is our off time since my DH is involved in agriculture....so we are getting busy nowadays with planting and mowing all the time. We hope to get away around 4th of July weekend plus a couple of extra days to go up to SD to see Mount Rushmore. Let's see how that goes! ;0) Have a great time on your bus trip! Fill me in when you get back.....what will you buy???
Hi Mary! I am in Hesston just north of Wichita. Marysville is about 3 hours from us. I was born in Fairbury, NE !!! Maybe we can meet sometime. Do you ever go to Salina? I am sure Manhattan is a better place for you to go and shop. I wouldn't mind going there to check it out. My husband works for Monsanto so he has been there and said it's a nice city.
You are right that it is so comforting to know that your loved ones are in God's arms. Thank you for your kind words of sympathy....it helps so much!
Well I am off to Curves! Take care and keep in touch! Maryam
Hi Mary! Thank you for the kind words of sympathy. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers very much. Sorry for your loss too....that wasn't that long ago either really. My mom was only 66 when she passed. I guess that's what was so hard....that she was so very young. I am only 20 years behind her. But she was a smoker all her life and didn't eat well or take care of herself. She had a lot of health issues regarding her lungs so maybe that didn't help things either. It's okay now....she is in God's loving arms and her suffering is finished.
