Hi Navy Wife, how are you doing? Are you out on the road for the summer, or in those beautiful mountains?

I have been busy at church since last Sept.  We started a sewing group to make quilts for a mission trip. It was called Operation Inasmuch. The last sat. in sept. each team went out, some did yard work, some had a food ministry just lots of projects in one day.

Well someone saw our quilts and ask us to make chemo hats, then someone else needed adult bibs for a nursing home, then someone from UT Hospital wanted gowns for the babies in the ICU nursery. Our group is the only one that continued past that one sat.in sept. and we are still going strong.

It is amazing how the Lord sent us fabric, and cash from different sunday school classes. We have had machines donated , we grew so much that they gave us a room in an old school that the church owns so we a painting and fixing that now with all volunteer labor and supplies. It is amazing to watch God at work.

I did get to take time to go to the quilt show in Maryville this year. Did you get to go?  I had such a great time when we went.

Well that catches me up I hope you are well and traveling.
