Hi Paula - we have some things in common. I've had fibro 16 years now too, officially, AND I was a church secretary for 10 years -- my favorite job I've had. Yes, quilting is the sanity and the relaxation for me from fibro as well. Glad you joined Fibro Girls. It's a great bunch!

Thanks for asking if I can join the group in August, Paula! I hope they will be OK with that...I'd love to be part of a group again.
And before that, maybe you can come by my place some day this summer.
I'm only working a couple days a week and looking for something more substantial. It's hard, but at least I get more time to quilt!

I live in Essex Jct, too! Right near the 5 Corners on Pleasant Street.
I did join the guild, but only made it to one meeting last year. I will try to make more of an effort starting in September.
When I lived in NH, I was part of a small quilt group that got together every Monday night to work on our own individual projects together. Are there any small groups or bees around here who are willing to take on a new member, do you know?

Love your quilt work. Very nice. I have to agree with you I love the country colors also. I can spend hours when I have time just looking at fabric on line.

This was my first English Paper Piecing effort and I was very pleased with the results. I really like to "Make it up as I go along."............hmmm........don't know what that says about me, but it worked for this effort. I love Baltimore quilts. I am trying my hand at a designing a couple of them: "Roses and violets" and "I still Believe", which features patriotic symbols.
