Welcome! About me...I've been married for 24 years, and we have an 18-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son. I work full time in the office at my church. I've been sewing since I was three or four, but didn't start quilting until 1995. I had a sewing and quilting business from 1997 to 2005, and laid it down to work at the LQS for awhile. I enjoy lots of different quilting techniques, but my favorite is Hawaiian applique and quilting. In life outside of quilting...both kids march in the high school band, so that keeps us busy. I'm a big sports fan too, especially of the Chicago Bears. Football is a big deal at our house!

Sherie, please forgive me if I didn't answer you when you commented almost a year ago. I do a large portion of my shopping at The Back Door. Unfortunately for my pocket book. There is a new little little shop in Beech Grove that mostly handles Moda fabric and I try to go there too. I live south of the Wanamaker Hardware Store on Five Points. I don't get up north too often. I want to make it one of these days to Zionsville and one other town that I can't think the name of. I haven't been quilting or embroidering much this summer. Are you working on any projects? Liz
We will have to meet up some time. I'm on the south side of Indy. Aren't you a trader for being a "Duh Bears" fan? I just miss going to Chicago. I wouldn't like to live there but I do love to go there. Do you have any favorite quilt stores? Liz
