Hi everyone!I'm new not only to blogging;but being on line.I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2002,and it has progressed.Oh well.My sewing I refuse to give up.Acomplishments don't come easy,so a finished project is extremely rewarding.Anyone who share this huge speedbump, sew when you can, break often.Your project is going nowhere without you.You ll appreciate the time more, and the end result.Remember;it's home made not manufactured. perfection is nice but not a must.Fibro is the least of… Continue

Hello Krista, Thanks for the ideas on getting thru the wallet edges. The batting I used (only needed a 8" x 10-ish" piece) was Warm & Natural cotton purchased more than 10 yrs. ago. I think it is a low loft batting, but it is pretty dense. Beginning to wish I had used a low loft polyester. I will try the tricks you suggested, ASAP. This weekend has been a blur so far, but when I get back to the wallet I will keep on trying! I am sorry to hear that you suffer from fibromyalgia, and I admire you for not giving up even tho it would be understandable if you did. Give Flashette a pat and a hug from me, and keep on quilting! Thanks!

Hi Krista
I'm new to the quilting blog. I have a very good friend who has Fibro als cronic pain. I was wondering if you would want to e-mail her. She could use a friend with the same issues? Her name is Michele and e-mail is ducky1@earthlink.net Maybe she could join the Fibro group.
Thanks so much I really like this site. So many nice people. I have been quilting for about 30m years. I like all kinds of quilting. I'll look for you

Hi Krista,
Nice to "meet" you. I'm sorry to hear of your fibromyalgia, but glad to hear of your positive attitude and determination to continue your quilting. Have you ever considered trying Healing Touch for your fibro? I have done some Healing Touch for some gals I work with and they seem to feel better afterwards. It's a non-invasive alternative therapy. Maybe you have someone new you who has been trained and offers it. My best wishes to you and enjoy your quilting.
