I've been quilting f-o-r-e-v-e-r and absolutely love every aspect of it. I do lean towards applique and scrappy quilts the most....especially those with a folk-art/prim look/feel to them. I'm also partial to applique album quilts.
I keep a small flock of Shetland sheep and enjoy processing their wonderful wool from shearing to finished project. This means that I am an avid spinner and knitter as well.
I love your puppy !!!! I have a Dashhound Yorkie Mix. My daughter brought him home with her from Boston,MA, where they breed them purposely.....I know, weird, and they're called DORKIES>.........Our "Rexie" is 5, and he is my baby....Hes black and looks more like the dashhound with the long body and face.....He is the best dog with our grandchildren and other cats and dogs...We love him!!!! I ve told my DH that I'd love to get a pure Dashhound someday. We'll see.....Anyway, you enjoy and I loved your page. MerryChristmas and HappyNewYear to you.

I'm glad to have you as a friend, too. :.) I love meeting quilters and seeing all the wonderful quilts they have made. I'm in a very rural area northeast of Spokane.....outside of Tum Tum. My hubby and I have lived in Spokane, Alaska (Fairbanks), and now here. He retired from the Air Force a few years ago. I grew up a military brat and was thrilled when we could finally settle down and call the Spokane area home. I absolutely LOVE it here, Can't imagine living anywhere else. :.) We are empty nesters (the youngest left for college six months ago), but the sheep, alpaca, and llama keep me busy. Not to mention my quilting, spinning, and knitting. I've also been enjoying classes at one of the local Pfaff dealers.
So glad to have you as a friend. Where in the Northwest are you located? I'm now in Yakima, but have lived in Beaverton, Portland, Centralia, Chehalis, Federal Way.... DH grew up in Athena, outside of Pendleton.
