I made this 4 years ago and finally got it quilted and bound.

Had sew many good intentions when I got up this morning but got busy catching up on the computer that I never got to any of them. Will have to get up early tomorrow morning as it is the day that my small quilt group Forever Friends meets here. We meet here every Thursday and I like to have my house and quilting studio presentable on that day. Have too many things laying out sew will have to clear them and put away to make room for the other quilters. We always have a great time so am looking…

Ok for some of you it might not be a big deal, but for me there is nothing worse than a bee in the house. I freek out over them and run the other direction. I know bee's make honey and pollinate the flowers, the house is my territory, the outdoors is theirs. After getting home from work today, the other half insisted that I put my shoes on and follow. I did. Out to the side of the house. hanging under the eves was one of the largest hives I have scene in some time. Talk about getting the…

Well we are finally officially on vacation LOL Tomorrow we leave for KC MO for a week and then to Nashville for a day and half before coming home. It will be so much fun. I have made a list of things to see in Nashville, since I have never visited just passed thru a couple of times.

Does anyone remember or know what happened to a quilt pattern co. called LITTLE LAMBS QUILT WORKS? I made this appliqued "Farmer Boy & Sunbonnet Bunny" quilt top many years ago from their pattern, copyright 1980. They had a different way of doing applique that I found to be fun & easy with no iron on bond. They also had a pattern for a pretty Cats in Hats quilt, and a collection of doll quilt patterns. I think that…

Yeah, I know. You have all been checking and patiently waiting for the next chapter. I have received the emails--and I thank you. No, no surgery complications, it's just that I ended up having some circumstances beyond my control and haven't been able to do it yet. Sorry. Just like you, the characters are all waiting---for me!
Please be patient and know that very soon it will be up and everything…

I'm looking for a counted cross stitch pattern of a sunflower that will fit in a 3" round glass or acrylic frame.
Can anyone help me?

I thought maybe some of you might have forgotten me so thought I would introduce myself again. I mailed blocks to Carol for an exchange project and haven't touched a lick of quilting since. Homework homework and more homework. I am down to three more assignments and one test for my first two library science classes which end on the 5th but then turn around on the 8th and start the next two classes. The work isn't too hard just a lot of it and a lot of reading. Hopefully, the fall and spring…

I haven't gotten a whole lot of sewing done these past few weeks nor much work done on the studio renovations. My time has been taken up with being in a play at the Alpena Civic Theatre based on old radio mysteries of the masters like Ellery Queen, Nero Wolfe and Agatha Christi. I play 2 parts in this play - Agatha and the future secretary of Hurcule Pioriot. Last night (Monday the 28th) we put on a performance for the developmentally challenged or "special needs" members of our community.…

Friday DH and I went to Mt. Hood, Oregon to deliver the wolves quilt to our son CJ for his birthday. He has loved wolves since childhood and he LOVES his quilt. He is working at a church camp there again this summer (has done this for 10+ years now). I gave him instructions on the care of the quilt so hopefully it will hold up for a long time. We had such a great time with him. The…
