I just had to start another project..so with some guidance from a good friend, I made this Four Patch Posie from this gorgeous fabric.
I almost gave up on following the written directions; they weren't well written as I found them to be very confusing. But I like the result anyway.
Some preferred that I leave it without a border binding as is; others thought that a fabric border would be nice to set it off if not too distracting; the pieced border would certainly distract from the overall quilt. Sooo..ladies here's what I did and I'm pleased with it.…Continue

The pattern calls for a pieced border of another 6" , 9" or 12" pieced blocks. Now my question is to you all..should I continue to build on this piece with the additional pieced border (additional piecing) or just add a 6"- 8" fabric border of a pretty print to finish it off? I'm leaning towards a…Continue
Victoria with my DH. I have picture of me holding the quilt but he takes lousy pictures. Totally inept in the technical department. She gets to keep the quilt while visiting us, then when she's too old to continue visiting us, she can take the quilt home…Continue
Once Upon a Meadow is the title of this lovely quilt, appliqued and pieced by the guild's members. Take a peek.
I have assembled one set of blocks from my quilt group (Sussex - Wantage Quilt club).
I also made this quilt for our neighbor's little girl. She likes dogs and draws them this way. The pattern is from Quilt Almanac 2012 from the editors of Quilt magazine.
Finished one more Feathered Star. Now I have four Feathered Star tops done. And i fixed the unevenness of the setting blocks. The extra pinning at the final edges was most helpful. :-) Thanks for all your advice.
