Well the month of July went by very quickly and so much did get done. (see past postings) I've entered 11 entries into the Creative Arts for Home and Hobby exhibit which is part of the NJ State Fair, Sussex County Farm and Horse show to open Aug 5th - 14th. I'm involved with securing monitors to help protect the exhibit. So far I've completed that task to the best of my ability. Evening commitments have been a bit of a challenge however.

I never thought about taking those itsy bitsy pieces of fabric and making an arrangement of some kind until this workshop came about from our guild.
Firstly, there is no adhesive to the fabric. It's just sliced up into little bitty pieces for use on the picture.
Secondly, a simple pencil drawing colored with pencils reduces the complexity of an authentic picture. Basically a sketch of the original.

When I was a little girl.... and celebrated my birthday, it seemed like an eternity to grow up and do the things the big kids did.
Well truly, I've been very busy but I do like to post to my page monthly, like a writing in a diary.
I've been enjoying the outdoors and have become addicted to playing golf and when the weather is right and I need to chase a little white ball around a beautiful golfcourse, I usually opt to do that.
