Mid November update

With the Double Wedding Ring quilt done...I'm moving on to another quilt from my early days of quilting. This one is a sampler that I had the guts to teach several ladies at the time. Thinking that everyone had developed skills beyond threading a needle, this actually became a real challenge to teach others. Most of them wound up making pillow covers. pps - just checked how many more UFO's I have from the past....3 queen size quilts and one scrap quilt from possibly the 40's that I acquired from an antique dealer.

November and gaining on quilting my project.

What can I say??? Making strides handquilting two quilts and gaining on visualizing the end of the tunnel so to speak. A few more days and I'll be ready to bind the DWR. The Feathered Star is also coming along to completion.

I absolutely refuse to start another project until I get these two off of my lap! So all those beautiful fabrics I just bought in Lancaster and this past summer will just have to wait. My goal is to make the "to do" list a bit smaller, before the "to make" list…
