-----two baby blankets (two grandchildren due to arrive in March and July)

-----two lap quilts (for my mom and dad's birthdays in March OR for Mother's and Father's Day depending on how much I can get done - LOL)

-----finish 3 UFO's that have been staring me in the face for several years (youngest son's wedding quilt...oldest daughter's quilt and my sister's Lone Star quilt in Black and Fushia!

Ok, I have written it down to share with everyone...now keep me on task PLEASE!! I need all the help I can get.

Hi Vicky! Nice to meet you! Wow you have some goals! Thank you for your comment on my Black Tie Kitties Quilt, I enjoyed making it and was very pleased with the final result. If you are interested, I found the pattern in an old issue of The Quilter. Your black kitties are beautiful! I have four, all different colors! Don't know what it is about Quilters and Cats, must be an inherent gene or something!

I also have grandchildren, 7 of them now, and they are the joy of my life! I never thought I could love anyone the way I love my kids, till my grandchildren came along. They are the light of my world. Every one of them!

Best wishes with the new ones, you'll get those quilts done! Keep us posted, we'll keep cheering you on!

Kathy: My oldest grandchild (age 3) is a boy - Jimmy - and he is quite a charmer...love him to pieces. Then I have a granddaughter - Samantha - who will be 1 next month. She is a little red headed cutie pie. I have four children and was beginning to wonder if I would ever have grandchildren, but now with two more on the way, the flood gates are starting to open!!
Anne: Yes, I belong to the Walla Walla Quilt Guild which meets once a month, very talented group of ladies AND gentleman.

Thank you for the good wishes...will keep you posted on the grandbaby arrival and quilting!!

Happy Quilting

We have grandsons coming in February and April, and my husband has a great grandchild coming in May! The tops are done for the first two, and as soon as I get all of the Christmas decorations off my dining room table I am going to get them sandwiched. There is a baby shower on the 10th and my goal is to have the one done then. Beyond that I want to get one done for me, make the other grandkids new ones because they have outgrown their others, and.....

Thanks Jane, I guess my first task is to prioritze my "to do list". My newest grandson is due in March...so a baby quilt shouldn't take to much time...and I love to make baby quilts. I'll post a pic when I get it done!! Keep your finger's crossed.

Sorry about that goofy typing. I wanted to say,"Believe me, I've got my own list, Happy New Year, Jane"
(Just getting used to typing on a laptop, and it's a little stange)
