Quilt With Us

Well, it is definetely turning fall here. We, my husband and I, have been busy finishing up the garden and canning. So far, about 400 bottles in the basement. But now my thoughts are turning to another quilt. This one I'm thinking will surely be a Christmas quilt, Tesellating stars. I can almost see it forming in my mind. I just have to decide what the background color will be.

What didn't we can? We canned tomatoes, juice, sauce, and whole. There are cherries, pears, peaches, grape juice, green beans, jams, jellies, beets, peppers and anything we can find. Apples are yet to come. I can't wait to get started on my Christmas quilt. Have a beautiful fall day!

Joan, what all did you can to make up your 400 bottles? Sure wish I was somewhere that it would be feasible to can. I envy all you girls with your gardens. Looking forward to seeing your Christmas quilt. Have a great day!
