Quilt With Us

Today Suzanne L came to my house for the afternoon. We had started trying to get together two years ago (or was it more). Today it finally happened and what a nice time we had!

She brought some Show & Tells, wonderful quilt and afghan treasures that have been in her family, including this gorgeous Grandmother's Flower Garden.

I love the green diamonds bordering each block. The quilt is in perfect condition.

It's so great to be able to meet our QWU friends face-to-face. I'd recommend it to everyone!

I love this version of the Grandmother's Flower Garden! The one I made has a Nile green background. The white looks better, especially with the green diamonds. Live and learn!

Too fun! The quilt is beautiful--just like the smiles on your faces.

Let me know when you are coming and we'll have some awesome chocolate! :P

No matter, BJ.   It's good enough to be with a new friend and share quilts and quilting stories - even without chocolate.  Just something to look forward to...the next time!

What a fun time you must have had. Quilting friends are always special people. I love the quilt Suzanne brought. Very vintage.

Looks like a delightful quilt and sounds like a delightful meeting.  So fun to visit with friend you have met on this forum.  I'm losing count of how many I've been blessed to meet.  It is a very unique feeling to meet someone for the first time and feel as though you have known each other forever.

What a wonderful way to spend the day.  I too love the GFG quilt.
