I am not making much in the way of gifts this year, but I did just finish Miss Bailey's Christmas gift...
It's a byAnnie pattern (Out and About) and uses her Soft & Stable. It's great to work with....but some of the seams are really really thick to have to sew through. I found my old old Bernina that I bought several years ago for art quilts did the best on conquering those seams. Now to fill it up with goodies and get it wrapped.

That is sew cute! Great idea and will be fun filling it! She sure is lucky to have such a talented grammy!
What a great Christmas gift for Miss Bailey!!! She's going to love it, especially because it was made with love by her grandma. I, too, remember when she was born and the problems with her mom's illness. So glad that things have worked so well for the family in AZ. Hard to believe that she's 5' 3" and going to be 10 yrs old. That's a project that I don't think I would tackle, but sure is good to see it done by others.
The zippers were actually pretty easy to do. I go the wider ones from byAnnie - don't even need to use a zipper foot with them!
Looks great! I give you a lot of credit tackling all those zippers. It will be fun to fill it up with goodies.
Very nice BJ. You always do such a good job on all your projects. It's hard to believe Miss Bailey is 10 years old. They grow up way to fast.
Peggy, not hard, but lots of steps and with using Soft & Stable, a lot of thick seams to sew
That's really cute, BJ! I want to make some backpacks for the dolls, but I haven't had the nerve yet. Was it hard to make?
Great job on the backpack, BJ! And what sort of goodies will you be stuffing it with?
(PS. Hard to believe Miss Bailey will be 10! Like PQ, I remember your posts when she was a little 'un!)
Beautiful! She will love it! Very professional looking with beautiful colors and fabrics. Wow.
Bailey will be 10 in February. She is already 5'3".
