Quilt With Us

I gave up making New Year resolutions. I never picked one I could actually acheive. You all probably know the type--give up chocolate and lose twenty pounds. On January 3, I'd have to run to the store. Okay, if I ran, I might have worked off some of the weight off but I didn't run.

Not resolutions, plans, for 2012:

I plan to enjoy every bite of chocolate.

I plan to spoil my grandson.

I plan to give away some stuff I don't need or want.

I plan to finish some UFO's in my sewing area (make room for more).

I plan to try different kinds of chocolate.

I plan to get the rough draft of Murder by Sunlight written in January. I participate in a January version of write a book in a month. It's good for me to have to account for my time. I work better under pressure.

I plan to continue walking the dogs every day (except for blizzards, heavy rain, and temperatures much below zero). It's good for all of us.

I plan to eat more chocolate.

I plan to come to QWU more often to check up on my internet friends.

Happy New Year everyone!

These resolutions are the kind that I have every year. You hit it right on the head with eating chocolate and spoiling the grandson. Wishing you a very Happy New Year and a very prosperous one!!!! Keep up the good work of writing. I appreciate it.

Yep Barbara, we must keep our priorities in order.  I love the list of non-resolutions you made.  I can probably handles most of them also.  Have a safe and healthy Happy New Year.

You have 3 non-resolutions that you know I love... yep, the CHOCOLATE ones.  The others are good too, but there are priorities! LOL

Now these are plans that even I could live with. Especially the "eating chocolate".  Happy New Year Barbara and enjoy your new "plans" for the coming year.
