I hope you had a wonderful Spirit Led week.
Due to unforeseen events, I was not able to get to the studio to clean up.
One event was daily picking up grandson from morning band practice and returning him in the evening for another round. That would not have been bad, but in between, I was doing research on auto and home insurance companies. It seems that my current one seems to 'lose' the payments sent in. I sent my vehicle insurance in via bank pay and they could not find it. Then later on I get a notice of cancellation of my homeowners because of lack of payment! The mortgage company pays that one. I race to the phone and call the mortgage company and find out they sent in the payment 15 days EARLY. 2 conference calls later, things are worked out as of this morning. Problem is, it took being on the phone for hours each day to stay on top of everything and to look for another carrier. At this point I have not found another carrier.
Saturday was a lot better. I got to see all the kids (ours), their wives, and the grands. We celebrated the twins birthday. Their wives got together and put it all together. It was so much fun. Because they were twins, I dressed each in different colors, one red, one blue. Then the wives asked 'what did they like to do when growing up'. I gave them a list.
The wives came up with a 'smash cake' party in front of their camping tent. A tent was set up in a front yard, cook set, sleeping bags, etc. So funny. The twins had to set it up too!!! (they took it down also).

note the little party hats in their respective colors... LOL
We all had a blast. These boys have been like this since birth. Playing pranks and joking around with each other. Nothing malicious though. This is nothing out of the ordinary for these 2. They were a riot to raise. Never a dull moment.
I hope they never 'out grow' this bond.
What was funny, but not funny was little Addy (3 y/o) thought these were the cakes that we were going to eat, and the boys messed them up. She starting crying that she did not get any cake. Her mom had to take her into the house to show her the cakes we were going to share.
Love one another
Have a Spirit Led week ahead.

Close families are a blessing. What a welcome relief from the frustrations of the ins. co. fiasco. I'd be looking for a different company, too. Have a great week.
What a fun way to have a celebration. I hope you are able to find a new ins co soon.
I don't think they will ever forget this birthday party. Lots of fun to remember. Thanks for sharing the fun with us.
